07 — Questions

Waiter call systems,
answered.

Everything restaurant, café and hotel owners in Sri Lanka usually ask us before getting started.

What is a waiter call system?

A waiter call system is a small wireless button on each table and a display at the counter. When a guest presses the button, the table number appears on the display and is announced out loud, so staff know exactly which table needs them. No more waving or calling out across the room.

Do guests need Wi-Fi, an app or a phone?

No. TableTap buttons talk to the display directly on 433 MHz radio. There is no Wi-Fi, no app and nothing for guests to download, and nothing to set up on their side. They just press the button.

How many tables can one display handle?

The Nexus display shows table numbers from 000 to 999, so one display covers anything from a small café to a large hotel restaurant. Most venues we set up have between 10 and 60 tables, and larger setups are available.

Will it work across a large or multi-floor restaurant?

Yes. The wireless signal carries across a typical dining floor without cables. For large or multi-floor venues we test the signal during installation and plan the setup around your layout.

Are the call buttons waterproof?

Yes. The Pebble is rated IPX67 and the Halo and Dot are fully waterproof, so they handle spilt drinks, table wiping, terraces and poolside seating.

What batteries do the buttons use, and are they easy to change?

The buttons run on standard coin-cell batteries (the Halo uses a single CR2032). The back twists off like a remote, so a battery swap takes seconds, and we keep spares in stock.

Can the buttons be branded with our logo?

Yes. We offer custom logo printing on the buttons and matching table-number stands so the system fits your venue.

How much does a waiter call system cost in Sri Lanka?

It depends on how many tables you have and which buttons you choose. Message us on WhatsApp on 076 532 9277 with your table count and we will send a quote.

Do you install and support the system?

Yes. We are based in Malabe and handle installation, staff training, warranty support and spare parts. Contact us about installation at your venue.

08 — Let’s talk

Ready to tap in?

Tell us about your venue and we’ll put together a setup that fits, whether it’s 10 tables or 60 and beyond.
